What’s Lit? / About the Show

It’s Lit features writers to love and the music their work plays best around. The music is chosen by the writers themselves. So the lit is literature, and it’s lit because it’s awesome.

Midwifed into existence during November 2016 on the amazing KTUH, It’s Lit now releases episodes on Mixcloud once or twice monthly (sometimes even more frequently!) and features some dope lit and very eclectic musical choices.

Please check out the Wanna Submit? page if you’re a writer who wants to be featured on the show!

Here’s an article by PhDJ that The Asian American Literary Review published, mapping that whole origin story of how It’s Lit was born.

Honolulu Magazine included It’s Lit in an article titled “7 Hawaiʻi-Based Podcasts Worth Listening to Right Now” in April 2019.
