Daní Ortiz Padilla is a xicana writer, educator, and aspiring children’s book author. Daní’s work is centered in and connected to stories of migration, isolation, spirituality, and ancestral healing. She was raised in northeast Los Angeles with her family that immigrated from Durango, México. Daní currently resides in Kahaluʻu.
